Bronze - Adopt an Environmental Policy
Adopting an environmental policy is an important first step to reducing the impact of your business on the environment, which we recognise by granting you with our Suppliers Bronze Award. If you do not currently have an environmental policy, you can adopt our very own Trusted Suppliers Environmental Policy.
All you need do to commence your journey to a Bronze Award is complete your online application, submit it with a copy of your chosen environmental policy and evidence of how staff are informed of its requirements.
Guided by our independent Qualified ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, the application and supporting evidence is checked by an assessor, who will also answer any questions you may have and support you throughout your journey towards greater sustainability.
Having achieved a Bronze Award, you will receive a certificate of recognition confirming to staff and customers that you and your business are committed to the environment. You will receive the Suppliers Bronze Award logo to include in your branding and details of the business will be updated on the Greener Globe Funeral Standard website, informing funeral directors, other companies and the public of your achievement.
Your award will expire after one year of your initial application and is renewed by simply confirming your continued commitment to our Trusted Environmental policy or equivalent and payment of the annual renewal fee.
