Example of Procurement Process Code of Conduct Requirement

Mauveworx submitted an excellent Supplier Code of Conduct

The Mauveworx Ltd Supplier Code of Conduct sets out our expectations of our supply chain and helps us to establish a culture that promotes responsible and ethical conduct, fair and transparent trading partnerships, sustainable working practices and ensures our partners adhere to the laws and principles of the countries we operate in.

Ethical Business Practices

Mauveworx expects our suppliers to conduct their business operations with the highest standards of integrity, fairness and impartiality, in an ethical and proper manner. All suppliers must adhere to anti-corruption laws, including but not limited to the Bribery Act 2010, and anti-money laundering regulations. We expect suppliers to mitigate appropriately against any real or perceived conflict of interest. Suppliers must not enter into any anti-competitive behaviour and shall comply with all provisions of the Competition Act 1998.

Health & Safety

Mauveworx are committed to protecting both the mental and physical safety and wellbeing of our employees, contractors and customers. We expect our suppliers to provide a clean and safe working environment in compliance with all regulations and applicable health and safety laws and regulations. Work areas must be of a standard to prevent accidents, injuries and illness. Suppliers must provide health and safety training to workers and provide protective equipment where appropriate. Suppliers must consider the mental health of the workforce and foster an environment to support workers.

Environment

Mauveworx is committed to working with our suppliers to reduce GHG emissions. We expect compliance with environmental laws, efficient use of resources, correct waste disposal, recycling schemes, and environmentally friendly products.

Human Rights & Labour Practices

Suppliers must have policies protecting human rights. Ensure fair, discrimination-free environment. Meet legal requirements for compensation, working hours, benefits and conditions. No child labour, forced labour or human trafficking. Respect freedom of association.
